Santiago D. Chambers, Sr., BS, CHSP, CHEP is the Director of Plant Operations at Los Alamitos Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare. With over 20 years in healthcare leadership, he previously served at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance and San Pedro Medical Centers, and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Santiago is a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional and Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional, with extensive credentials in safety, security, hazmat, emergency preparedness, and fire and life safety. He holds a BS in Health and Human Services from the University of Arizona Global Campus and is pursuing a master's degree in healthcare administration. Santiago is a former President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the California Society for Healthcare Engineering and a US Navy veteran with 28 years of marriage and children in college and the US Marines.
