College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California consists of three campuses. Each has a different personality and purpose. The Visalia campus, built in the 1930s, is the oldest of three three campuses. Over 80 years, facilities teams have come and gone, renovations have taken place, equipment has evolved, and building documentation has accumulated. In this short video, Byron Woods, the Dean of Facilities, describes the steps taken to migrate and digitize documentation. Now, Woods and their team use technology to map out buildings, locate shut-offs, conduct equipment troubleshooting, and respond faster to emergencies.
